Focussing on paintings, Mr. Setowski was once labeled as a surrealist artist, but years of crafting his own unique and recognizable style saw him become one of the most prominent representatives of "Magical Realism" art along with a few others.
Rob Gonsalves is a Canadian painter, illustrator, and author. He describes the paintings as surrealistic art but later developed his own artwork by incorporating architecture in his work. He later became well known in the artwork labeled as "Magical Realism."

Alexander Kanoldt is not only one of the pioneers of the New Objectivity era, but also set up the path to future Magical Realism artists by instilling the idea of combining magical elements with modern, everyday life.
